The Eaton Path
This is the current stage. In the future I will probably make colour. The layers are still seperated for animation, I just haven’t thought of anything fun to try. Suggestions welcome :)
1. Initial Idea thinking to do an animation of a character running over a bridge
2. Then brought into procreate and started thinking of dragon quest or secret of mana. Thought about making a floating castle. Then left it for the last few months. i didn’t know if i wanted to make it cell shaded or painterly.
3. This weekend i took some of these old sketches, I chose cell shaded. I added colour but did not like, so I thought maybe make them all manga style B& W
4. I thought maybe try some painterly clouds instead of flat shading, i kinda liked so i added detail and continued with it
5. Current state
I haven't drawn layouts for a long while. So a few months back i made some sketches/ideas but stopped because i made them in part to use them in small animation shorts. I still don’t have a solid idea I am interested in animating so I thought just to work on them and see if it spurs some creative thinking.
